I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food lived up to my expectations. The fried duck ravioli was pretty good. It had a solid crunch out the outside and it was still flavorful and rich on the inside. The steak was exceptional. Perfectly booked medium rare throughout with a perfect sear. The cheesecake was the only thing I was a little disappointed by. It was good, but it wasn't cheesecake. It was pretty much just cake with a tiny bit of cheese filling. The service was good. Our server and the manager were pretty attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was nice, your typical upscale steakhouse. I didn't get a chance to go into the speak easy but from what I saw it seemed like it'd be a really fun place to grab a drink

This was our first visit and it won't be our last. All we did was compliment everything. The atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was great. The food was outstanding. Best grouper I have had. My one criticism was the white chocolate mousse dessert was ehhhh. The chocolate lava cake was better. And there is a very cool wine/tapas bar attached. We want to try that.

My wife & I had my pre-birthday dinner last night, our first visit. We were greeted by the hostess and was the perfect host. The place is clean and beautiful and lighting was perfect. The patio was beautiful with the fire table making it all glow. Page was our server and was attentive and walked us thru the menu. The old fashion was spot on! I had the duck breast and it was cooked perfectly with layers of flavor. My wife's sea bass was incredible! We will for sure be back!

On this food journey we will start with the staff. They are amazing and attentive. They were willing to talk and be helpful with menu items. The ambiance was quiet. Unfortunately in this review I can not say much about the inside. We sat outside near the fire and it was wonderful. Not too loud but not too quiet. The steak was cooked perfectly through with the right amount of seasoning. The red wine Demi glaze was alright honestly the steak is better without it. For the price of the meal I think it could be cheaper. If it was a little cheaper they would be getting a higher rating. The cheesecakes are fantastic. The bread app is a little bit of a rip of with the amount of butter that is provided.

Recently went here for a couples outing and was delighted with great food and service. If you want a beautiful guide to food and drinks please request to see Taylor. Taylor was our server and provided excellent service and recommendations on food and drink pairings. Don't hesitate to start with the burrata or lobster bisque soup. They offer a lot of specialty cocktails but the only thing you need to know is speakeasy sangria...you welcome! The grouper and sea bass were beautifully cooked. Also, their desserts are delicious. We finished our meal with the pineapple upside down cheesecake. This is the perfect place for an anniversary or end of the week treat.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm. We did make a reservation online. We got there a little early and were able be to be seated immediately. Our server was awesome. The food, delicious. Vibes are great. You could come have drinks with friends but it's also a great place to bring your parents for their anniversary dinner. It's formal enough to merit a special occasion place but the food, drinks and staff make somewhere you'd want to go for a girls night. I liked that you were able to size their charcuterie board depending on your group size. We had the grouper sandwich 10/10, scallop risotto 10/10, fried duck ravioli 9/10 (a little too hard fried for me but still yummy), the hazelnut chocolate cake 10/10 (not overly sweet), pecan old fashioned 7/10 (if you're an old fashioned drinker. If you like candied pecans and salted caramel it's very good), the speakeasy sangria (sweet, VERY strong, VERY good; more than two and you'll be rolling out of there).Prices were excellent. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Came to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had reservations but arrive early. They were able to accommodate. What we ordered: Mussels - flavor was good. Portion was okay. Cuban bread - overpriced and butter was really hard and did not melt on the bread Charcuterie board for 2 people - 2 cheese and 2 meat. only came with 3 pieces of crostini bread. The meat was sliced paper thin. Shrimp pasta - it was very very salty. Special of the day - tilefish with jasmine rice, sugar snap peas and lemongrass sauce with bits of crabmeat - my husband really liked it. Flavor was good, fish was tender. Sea bass - vegetable of the day - potato gratin - all very delicious and perfectly cooked. It was a very nice ambience. Was not overly dark like some restaurant. The server was wonderful and explained the menu and provided recommendations.

Heritage Grille is a newer restaurant in Wake Forest. It has been renovated from the prior restaurants in the space. There is a dining room; bar area and outdoor seating. The dining room is nicely decorated down to the white table cloths. The staff was very friendly and attentive while we were here. I went with the filet mignon, my usual as it helps me figure out the quality of the restaurant. I was very happy with the quality here and my selection. My dinner also came with a baked potato (or other side) and veggies. As I was pleased with the dinner I went with the Tres leches cake for dessert and enjoyed that as well. The portion was generous so I ended up eating most of it the next day. I will be returning in a few weeks to Heritage Grille so need to decide if I opt for a new dish or stick with the one I highly enjoyed.

Our first trip here. Made reservations earlier in the day for 6:30 on a Saturday. Upon arrival, was seated immediately. Very friendly hostess. I'll start with I have no complaints. Not one. Everything we ordered was flavorful and filling. It's a classy place although I saw people dressed up in what I'd call business casual to people in jeans and a nice hoodie/sweatshirt/boots. We started with the waiters recommendation for an appetizer which was the fried duck ravioli. I have never had duck before. The glaze was kind of sweet. Ravioli was filled with cheese and duck, very flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised! For our drinks, we ordered a pecan old fashioned which was very good. Nice note of the pecans at the end of the sip. We also tried the southern sidecar. This is a very strong drink, the orange liqueur doesn't stand out much, you definitely taste more of the VSOP and lime. We split a Cesar side salad. It was plenty for us two, especially after the duck appetizer. Our steaks were very flavorful. I'd go as for to say for this area, best steak I've had around wake forest so far. We both had the garlic butter topping on our steaks. Veggies were cooked just how I like them - a nice crunch and not soft. Waiter was attentive and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
